Chamber Music Workshops & Concerts

Join us in the magical landscapes of Cappadocia and make music with performers from Turkey and abroad

These intensive workshops are designed to enhance the ensemble playing skills that are vital for musicians in the 21st century. The main focus will be the study and performance of core chamber music repertoire for our series “Schumann’s World” ; a celebration of the great romantic visionary. In addition, there will be daily readings of early music as well as special projects with living composers.

Concept: Led by resident composers, the composition workshop of Cappadocia is designed to speed young composers in their development, offer a creative space for composing, in the context of an environment both peaceful and stimulating in which new ideas can be immediately tested and brought to life..

2 - Application deadline is June 10th.

3 - If space for Repertoire is not enough, add as a separate list to the end of this document.

4 - Accommodation cost stated are for single occupancy. If you share a room with a roommate, the cost will be lower:

Quality of the recording is not important (quality of playing is !) Grant winners will be announced by 1st June.
